Melisa Sözen is a Turkish actress and producer from Istanbul who began acting at a young age and has built a strong career across film and television.​ She gained international recognition with Winter Sleep, directed by Nuri Bilge Ceylan, which won the Cannes Film Festival Palme d’Or in 2014. She later expanded her international profile through Le Bureau des Légendes and the film Damien Veux Changer Le Monde.

She also starred in Who Were We Running From?, which reached global audiences on Netflix, and more recently appeared in Roya, directed by Mahnaz Mohammadi. Alongside acting, she is active as a producer, developing distinctive international projects.
