Marina Makris is a Cyprus-based theatre maker, playwright, and performer, and co-founder of enacttheatre, a company specializing in devised theatre with productions touring locally and internationally. She works across theatre, film, and television, and was selected as a European Shooting Star at Berlinale 2025. In the same year, she won Best Performance at the Cyprus Film Days Festival for her role in Africa Star. Her screen credits include Clementine, Patchwork, The Sock, Africa Star, Motherwitch, and Life in a Beat, alongside various short films and television series. Most recently, she appeared in Little Eyolf for Cyprus National Theatre and wrote and directed the play Merciful, which toured Cyprus.
