Mahmood Bakri is a Palestinian actor known for his compelling and emotionally nuanced performances across film and television. He has built an international profile through acclaimed productions including Alam (2022), The Teacher (2023), directed by Farah Nabulsi, and The Strangers’ Case (2024).

Bakri takes the leading role of Chatila in Mahdi Fleifel’s award-winning feature To a Land Unknown (2024), which premiered in the Directors’ Fortnight at the Cannes Film Festival and went on to receive recognition at festivals around the world. His performance earned him the 2025 International Cinephile Society Award for Best Actor, shared with Abou Sangaré.
