Having worked for almost two decades in investment finance and tech, Jamil used his passion for acting and story-telling to pursue a career in classical theater (primarily Shakespeare), which he expanded to include film and television both in Jordan and the United States. With native fluency in Arabic and English, proficiency using swords and firearms, horse riding skills, and voiceover training, he always sought to build on his skills to bring a wide array of experiences and authenticity to his work.

Born in Amman, Jordan, he has a BA in Economics and Political Science from Bates College. An avid traveler, he splits his time between LA, New York, and Amman.
