Bayan Layla, born and raised in Syria, began studying architecture at the University of Hama before making her first stage experiences in her adopted home of Leipzig in 2015.

Bayan Layla studied acting at the August Everding Theater Academy in Munich. She is part of the ensemble network, holds a scholarship from the German National Academic Foundation, and has been a member of the acting ensemble at the BADISCHEN STATE THEATER since the beginning of the 2021/22 season. Here she has been seen in Anna Iwanowa, [Blank], Toni Erdmann, and Miracles, among others.
